I have always been intrigued by the idea of comic books, but I never really got into them. The closest I ever got to regular exposure to comics was the animated 1992 adaptation of X-Men. The characters were really interesting, but more important, they were real people who just happened to have super powers. I was never a huge fan of DC comic characters, but the Marvel characters really drew me in. After reading a few issues of the X-Men I was hooked. Now that I have found this site, I've decided to read the comics in order, rereading the ones I already read a few years back. Thanks for making this site and this list. I love being able to keep track of my progress on anything I'm doing and The Complete Marvel Reading Order is perfect for that.
