At first I was mildly intrigued by the depiction of the clone troopers' training. Unfortunately that was short lived and the rest of the book happened. Anakin is sidelined almost immediately for no discernible reason. I guess Barnes didn't want to write him? Obi-Wan's characterization was completely wrong. The idea of humanizing a clone did nothing except bring about an unlikely end to the story. And finally, lightsabers are used under water. Again...
