I really struggled with this one. Too many characters and didn't feel a connection to any of them in particular.

This is still early enough in the Phase that I sometimes struggle with the influx of new characters. Trying to keep everyone straight was tough, especially when the warring factions both start with the letter E.
I did like that we finally got to see into what the Forever War was all about, but didn't like that this story is only tangentially related to the Path story.

Enjoyed this one. Just enough early build to create the exciting pace that runs strong later in the book. Fun characters that maybe we see later?

I really liked all the characters and their interactions. There was a point were I was struggling to get through this but it got better as it went along. It was Thylafire made.
