Pretty standard Padme story. Still, I like it. Great seeing the war from other perspectives.

On its own the story is good but with so many other, better looks into Padme's life it doesn't stand out.

The best part of this series is the short essay at the end of each issue.

"My lady is many things, subtle isn't one of them".
Excuse me but what ?
She was a politician at something like 9, a queen by 14, she passed as her one of her handmaiden tricking a whole lot of people, lured Nute Gunray into a trap with a double, became a senator and tricked death again by passing as a pilot...
And your lady isn't subtle ?
What are you even on Dormé ?
Anyway, pretty bland story.

I feel like the plot shows Padmé's character very well. If only it were well written.

Interesting note that her handmaidens were aware of their relationship.
