Droids #8
Title: Droids #8
By: waden34
Date: March 28, 2026
Comment: I hated every bit of this retelling. The added scenes were completely stupid and pointless. The art and coloring was done by somebody who had never watched the films before… it might’ve made sense if this had been released prior to 1977 instead of 10 years later. [continued]
Star Wars: Underworld #5
By: jaoblia
Date: March 28, 2026
Comment: God forbid a Star Wars comic have unique stylized art that isn't just sloppily traced promotional pics of the actors. Y'all have boring taste.
Ambush
Title: Ambush
By: Billstar2
Date: March 27, 2026
Comment: Always loved this episode. All the characters are on point and we get to see Yoda in action and inactive to show how both work. Also, this is why Yoda is a master.
The Clone Wars: Prelude
By: Billstar2
Date: March 27, 2026
Comment: Short and to the point. Onward to Ambush.
Supply Lines
Title: Supply Lines
By: Billstar2
Date: March 27, 2026
Comment: Won’t go down as my favorite episode but it’s not bad. As much as I dislike Ambassador Binks(lol), I personally feel this story suits him to a tee. Lean into his goofiness.
Clone Cadets
Title: Clone Cadets
By: Billstar2
Date: March 26, 2026
Comment: A look inside clone trooper training. Not great compared to epic space battles but a decent story.
Letter from Christophsis
By: Billstar2
Date: March 26, 2026
Comment: Ahsoka’s POV of the Battle of Christophsis. Nice recap.
25 to Rescue
Title: 25 to Rescue
By: Billstar2
Date: March 26, 2026
Comment: Sounds fun, as I always say, would love to try this scenario some time. I’ve gotten a better understanding of Warhammer 40K recently, so miniatures are more interesting to me.
FCBD: Edge of Balance
By: waden34
Date: March 26, 2026
Comment: Pretty sure there is nothing here that isn't in vol. 1
Decide Your Destiny: Tethan Battle Adventure
By: Billstar2
Date: March 26, 2026
Comment: Totally agree. This book felt like a step down from the first. From a potential Jedi to this one just being a youngling. Was hard going through all the choices and yes several were the same decisions. Glad to move on.
The Edge of Balance,Volume 4
Date: March 24, 2026 +1
Comment: Interesting series. Really put the fear of the Shrii-Ka-Rai into me, but dang, was really hoping Yoda's discovery about them was made more clear. Seems he at least is now on the front foot to deal with them.
Terror of Tenoo
Date: March 15, 2026 +1
Comment: Goonies vibes.
Nubs and the Flower Fiasco
By: yert1981
Date: March 15, 2026 +1
Comment: My five year old and I are having a great time with these!
The High Republic: Convergence
By: BillG2330
Date: March 14, 2026 +1
Comment: I really struggled with this one. Too many characters and didn't feel a connection to any of them in particular.
Tales of Enlightenment: The Unusual Suspect, Part II
By: yert1981
Date: March 13, 2026
Comment: Is this a German reprint of the last story or is it a second part?
Decide Your Destiny: The Way of the Jedi
By: Billstar2
Date: March 8, 2026 +3
Comment: I normally try to find books electronically but I did manage to track this and another down through Thriftbooks. Great to have a choose your own adventure book in my hands again. Scrolling back and forth like I have for some previous books is a pain. I actually make a doc... [continued]
Jedi Council: Acts of War #4
Date: March 8, 2026 +1
Comment: The page where they all felt the passing of Micah was very strong. This series was filled with moments like these. What a well-written series.
Hyperspace Stories: Tides of Terror #2
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: A more action packed issue. Things are definitely going sideways now.
Hyperspace Stories: Tides of Terror #1
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: An okay start to a dull story.
The Clone Wars
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026 +3
Comment: I did go see this in the theater when it released. Me and about 3 other strangers. All guys. All over 20. Zero kids in the theater. Was a little weird. Agree with most about the animation style being sort of jarring. Did feel like a pilot episode on the big screen. Asoka be... [continued]
Age of Republic: General Grievous #1
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: I did like that there wasn’t a ton of dialogue. Short and to the point.
Age of Republic: Padmé Amidala #1
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: Pretty standard Padme story. Still, I like it. Great seeing the war from other perspectives.
Hyperspace Stories #6
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: This was way better than it has a right to be. Fun stuff.
Hyperspace Stories #5
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: Like any additional info on Ventress. She’s a fascinating character. I think they did a good job keeping a lot from fans. Sometimes too much info ruins them.
Age of Republic: Anakin Skywalker #1
By: Billstar2
Date: February 25, 2026
Comment: Solid middle of the road comic.
The Hidden Enemy
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: Very enjoyable episode. Mystery, betrayal, and lightsaber duels, what’s not to love. Love Obi-wan asking how Anakin got there? I improvised.
The Clone Wars: Shadowed
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: An okay filler comic.
Cat and Mouse
Title: Cat and Mouse
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026 +1
Comment: Finally made it to the Clone Wars series. I watched the first season and part of this one when they originally aired. Great start. Love the interactions between Obi-wan and Anakin.
Dark Journey
Title: Dark Journey
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: I have apparently read this one before, I’m unsure why but I knew it felt very familiar.
Star Wars Republic #71
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: I don’t think I’ve ever been more stunned more times in one comic. Two or three times I was like, did that just happen. Love the parallels between Vos and Anakin. Amazing issue!
Star Wars Republic #70
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: More action. Good thing Jedi don’t form attachments, lol. Love that from Vos.
Star Wars Republic #69
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: Loving this storyline. Vos and Obi-wan team-up. Fun action and flashback.
Jedi Trial
Title: Jedi Trial
By: Billstar2
Date: February 24, 2026
Comment: Anakin, at times, felt like an after thought. He’s involved in it early on, then shoved to the backseat for other stories and then becomes important again. Felt like two stories loosely tied together. Way too much detailed description of the war and war plans for me.
Changing Seasons, Part II
By: Billstar2
Date: February 22, 2026
Comment: A fun enough two part story.
Changing Seasons, Part I
By: Billstar2
Date: February 22, 2026
Comment: Obi-Wan earning his keep. Lol.
Star Wars (1977) #57
By: Gorgo
Date: February 22, 2026
Comment: After a decent part 1 last issue, the wheels just fell off here. Terrible plot elements: the terrestrial planet at the center of Bespin, a GAS GIANT; the Ugnaught news crew; the gawdawful attempt at giving the Ugnaughts pidgin Scottish accents; and the overused deus ex mac... [continued]
Star Wars (1977) #56
By: Gorgo
Date: February 22, 2026
Comment: "The" Lobot??
Legacy of the Jedi
By: Billstar2
Date: February 22, 2026
Comment: I know Jude Watson wrote the Jedi Apprentice/Jedi Quest books and this felt just like those. Fun story but some heavy stuff in there as well. Kept expecting Zanathos to pop up some how or rise from the dead. Glad he did get a minor mention.
Star Wars (1977) #55
By: Gorgo
Date: February 21, 2026
Comment: A little better than previous efforts, but plagued by two of the things that weakened the majority of this SW run: silly elements, here the Hoojibs, and nonsensical concepts more at home in superhero comics such as aliens with superpowers or, as in this issue, the ridiculou... [continued]
Death Masque
Title: Death Masque
By: Gorgo
Date: February 21, 2026
Comment: An ok short story, except for a couple of things. First, the trope in Marvel's SW stories of the era where the plot begins with a character crash landing on some planet had gotten tiresome by this point. Second, I was frustrated by the tendency of the writer, Steve Moore (... [continued]
